Bentilador

nakahimpil ang bentilador
sa aking harapan,
isang tahimik na nilalang
ng teknolohiya. mabuti na lang
maginhawa ang simoy ng amihan
ngayong umaga.

pero mamayang tanghali,
pipindutin ko ang number three
ng aking bentilador
at itututok sa akin. malamig
ang hanging hatid ng teknolohiya.

Ang Pag-ibig ay Lapis

hawak ng kanang kamay
ang bagong tasàng lapis.
saka maglalakbay sa puting papel
ang matulis nitong titig -
mag-iiwan ng bakas ang pagniniig.
ngunit di tulad sa bolpen,
nabubura ng lapis ang mga mali.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all!

I hope that this year, 2013, will be a lot better for all of us citizens of the world.

Some of my hopes for this year:

1. May the climate change we are experiencing since a few years back be lessened until totally eliminated;
2. Israel and Palestine be in peace forever;
3. Islamic nations will not be intervened by the Western powers;
4. Armed conflicts in the whole world be resolved through peace negotiations; and
5. The Philippines, my country, be economically and politically stable after the May elections this year.

May the Almighty watch and guide us all. :-)
